Welcome back to Term 3 as we approach the Signature Concert Series. The concert series is designed strategically to elevate students’ playing to the best standard as we perform for the greater public, parents, family and friends. An extraordinary amount of effort and support continues to happen behind the scenes so that you can reach your musical potential. Soiree

As part of the upcoming Signature Concert Series in Term 3, all students will perform a solo piece as part of the Soiree studio recitals. This is a fantastic opportunity for parents to see their sons perform in a warm and friendly environment as we encourage students to improve their performing skills. Please note the date, time and location of your Soiree below. You should also receive further, more detailed communication from your tutor by the end of the term:

Churchie’s Best Solos

Congratulations to the following students who have successfully gained a place in Churchie’s Best Solos 2024, which takes place in Morris Hall on Thursday 18 July, commencing at 6 pm:

Churchie ensembles in the Queen Street Mall

State Honours Ensemble Programme

Congratulations to the following students who participated in SHEP from 5 to 7 July 2024 at the Queensland Conservatorium. All students enjoyed a wonderful experience of music-making with the very best conductors, along with the opportunity to meet other music students from all over Queensland.

Danny and the Batchelor’s

Congratulations to Daniel Batchelor and his band who performed ‘Runaway Baby’ by Bruno Mars at the final assembly of Term 3. The performance was vibrant and energetic in line with the celebratory nature of the final assembly before the end of term.

Jazz Under the Stars – James Morrison

There are still a few tickets available for sale, so be quick and don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy great music and food and support Churchie Music on Main Oval.
